    Nouveau lashes all fallen out

No, I'm not taking any medication W00bear. It does sound like they could've been applied too close to the skin from how you describe it, but I went to a reputable salon and I know other people who get their lashes done there with no problems so I'm quite perplexed by the whole thing really. And...

    Nouveau lashes all fallen out

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread but I've just had a similar experience with Nouveau Lashes. I had a full set applied for the first time and loved them. I went back to the salon almost 2 weeks later to have them checked and a few more applied, but after that I had nothing but problems...

    Semi-Perm Lash problems

Thanks for the reply caz-lash. I'm overseas at the min so no other local therapists offering the same service unfortunately. I was patch tested prior to application so I don't think it's an allergy. What's the best way to proceed with baby oil?? Xx

    Semi-Perm Lash problems

Can anyone help? I currently have a set of semi permanent lashes which are dropping out at a rate of knots, and also feel very uncomfortable. My eyelids feel really tight and dry, I also have quite a noticeable gap where I've lost lashes. I've phoned the salon where I had them applied but they...

Experienced nail tech in the Edinburgh area

Not great with enhancements - especially Brisa - but I'll save that for a whole new thread lol. Maybe I am wrong, but my understanding about CND Complete was that you'd be taught to a level whereby you'd have adequate skill levels to be able to get out there and start earning, once...

Experienced nail tech in the Edinburgh area

I'm scratching my head a bit here. I totally appreciate that practice makes perfect, but surely if you've done CND Complete then you should have been taught Brisa to a sufficient standard and you should be working on perfecting your technique at this stage rather than having all these issues...

Most common reason for enhancements breaking?

Sorry to hear about your Brisa problems hun, you really do sound like you're just about at the end of your tether with it all! Have you spoken with your educator, what advice has she given? I think I'm right in saying that you did CND Complete didn't you - if that's the case then surely...

    Essie products?

Ocado now sell Essie polishes too, which seems a bit bizarre?!

    Shellac pop-up banner

Does anyone know if it's still possible to purchase these? They're available on the CND.com website but I can't seem to find any in the UK, and I'd really like to get hold of one for an upcoming pamper event. This is the one I'm thinking of: Shellac Pop-Up Banner | CND TIA :)

Why are you guessing it's a wind up?! I can quite well believe every word unfortunately!

    CRB check?

^^ Same here PixieBeauty - I work in the NHS but have always needed a new CRB for every hospital/trust I've ever worked for. Seems crazy, but apparently the rationale behind it is that the info is only accurate on the day the report is issued. So every new employer has to satisfy themselves that...

Dr. called to tell me lady appointment time

You will still need a smear test after a hysterectomy, even when you've no cervix remaining - it's called a Vault Smear, and they take cells from the area where the cervix would have been if that makes sense!

    Removing extensions & adding new!

Totally agree. Also - I think you've mentioned in earlier posts that you did your Brisa training only recently? So perhaps other geeks made the assumption that you were less experienced with the product than you posssibly are. I really don't think that the replies you got were patronising...
