    Daily Mail home colour article

I think its fine to colour your own hair if your just touching up your roots etc, but makes me laugh how they are trying to make it seam easy to give yourself highlights stripping colour etc, these people don't have a clue what there putting on there head nor what damage they could potentially...

Asking a client not to come back

Thats awful someone has made you feel like that. Try not to take it personally, and take it with a pinch of salt. I have a client like that and have actually got her in this afternoon..... but if they are really that unhappy they wouldn't keep booking in. I just nod and smile some people...

    Trying to go mobile

I've been mobile for about 3 years now, I suppose I was lucky as the bulk of my client base was from a salon I used to work at that closed down, but I just find word of mouth has gotten me allot of new work. All of a sudden you will be struggling to fit people in, it creeps up on you. I find...

Sounds to me like a bit of a mix of bad communication and unrealistic expectations. Next time you have a situation with something like this, I would make it very clear to the client that any of these Bright Semi's like Directions, Painbox, Hot Shots, Crazy Colours etc are never going to last...

    Affinage colour remover

I have used this on a client a year ago and I used just a regular shampoo,(cant remember what it was) and it went straight back to black after applying the post eraser, was so disappointing!! And a complete waste of money… However I learned from my mistake and last week I took someone from 1A...

    Hair extension scissors

I have worked with exstentions for about 5 years now, and personally wouldn't use scissors to cut them; i find it leaves them looking blocky and un natural. I ushally use a razor to cut exstentions as it leave its looking softer and maybe just point cut up into them with scissors if i need to.
