Second wedding, is cream color OK for a guest?

I don't see anything wrong with wearing white/cream. It's not like your wearing a white wedding gown trying to outshine the bride!!

    New to tanning

Just remember, suncream and chlorine will likely break down your tan. Xx

    What colour do you see?

The colour you see depends on how dilated your pupils are. Sent from my SM-N9005 using SalonGeek mobile app

    Massage advice?

I have the couch the hight of the clients back to my hip and use my body weight to get a firm pressure. Also as others have said, using your elbows, forearms and even the outside part of your hand will get a firm pressure. Try not to hunch over, keep your back as straight as you can and move...

    Elemis

Hey, I've never used elemis but I love watching them on QVC along with all the other skin care brands! I know it's a bit random and geeky but you'll get a feel for the brand and it's interesting to watch how they talk about the products/hints and tips for you to pick up. X

    Anybody used Western Union before?

I used to live in Asia and used Western union a fair few times and never had any problems with western union itself. Using it for business though seems a bit dodgy, although I've only ever used it within family. You also have to pay a fee when using them but I can't remember how much it was...

    GELeration prep with Gelish?

I find the both systems to be very similar, so I'd say yes! Also if harmony say yeah then should be fine!! Xx

    Makeup questions

Are you using any bronzers/contour colours? Using only a full coverage foundation is going to take away any dimensions and make you look flat and washed out. X

    Spa therapist

It's tiring, I'm not gonna lie. But I can honestly say, I love it! I find it a very rewarding job! I'v been doing it for 3 years now and want to just keep moving upwards and keep training. I am aware though that as a therapist, I have a shelf life. But I'm glad as I want to work my way up...

    Spa therapist

I'v only ever worked in spas and wouldn't dream of working in a salon. However, if I'd asked here first, I probably wouldn't dream of working in a spa!! Some places treat you like a machine but not all! I love the training I have had and love the luxury environment and luxury treatments I am...

Will putting cream on my skin strip my spray tan?

Did you apply cream before you showered off the guide colour? If so this may have caused problems with your tan as it hadn't fully developed underneath. Most brands offer moisturisers and scrubs to use to prolong your tan. Personally I'd avoid body butters before or after a tan as they're...

Need hair and make up products!

What kind of salon are you going to be? Who do you want to market too? Do you want a luxury skin care/ spa range? Why not get some reps out, try products and find brands that you'll be totally absorbed by and fall in love with and believe in their ethos. Good luck x

    Huffed client rant

I was taught 3 weeks is just an example. If a client says "how long will this last" or "when do I need to come back" I say 2-3 weeks, depends on how fast your hairs cycle is. X

Anyone else feel the same as me?

I also prefer level 3 to level 2, however if you would want to work in a spa or salon, they want you to be able to perform all treatments. So I am glad I am able to do all and the level 2 treatments are starting to grow on me. :) X

    Which Jessica white?

Wedding gown is a nice white esp. for French. I believe frost is slightly shimmery, I haven't used GELeration for a while now though. X

    Worried about training staff

I'm not lash trained so not really sure how it works tbh. I only did cluster and strip at college and have never done lashes since lol! So may be able to use that but not to sure on the lash front. Xx

    Worried about training staff

In-house trained staff will be insured depending on the treatment. In level 2 you cover waxing, facials, nails, lashes etc. Therefore just because you aren't trained by the product brand you are still trained to perform the treatments. If you hold a manicure certificate and are in-house...
