Hi everyone,

I've done lots of searching for different wax and heaters to use and I am thinking of getting a Hive 500cc heater so that I can heat the pots of warm wax up in the heater but then getting an extra container from Hive to heat up PR Euroblonde in for when I need to use non strip wax.

Would this work ok? Just want to check i'm not missing something and making a mistake before I go and order!

Thanks in advance for you help :)

If you are going to be using two different types of wax (which is the most beneficial to serious waxing ((IMHO)) Then you would be better buying two separate pots so that you can have both wax types heated as the wax does not heat up too quickly. 500cc pots are ok if you not doing a lot of waxing, but if there is the possibility that you may be doing more and more waxing then it is more cost effective to buy two 1000cc pots in the long run. I have a small 500cc pot that I use only for heating up my cans of Ease wax to top up my larger heater and I just poor the beads of hard wax into its pot as and when I want that one topping up.

Since I don't work all day every day - I fancy the new digital dual heaters. They have a 1lt and a 500cc controlled independently. It appears that they are not quite available yet.

The fast start automatic heat-up would be great since I can ask my landlady to switch on and let them heat without me having to go to the salon 90 minutes before every booking.

I will definitely keep my old heaters for backup!

Hive Heaters

Today though, I put my Crystal Ocean in the 1lt heater that came free with my training, and my Euroblond in a one side of a dual babylis thing which I'm not terribly fond of - but it'll do for now. (I bought it before I found this forum! :irked: )
