Anyone else fed up of being single?

I'm sick of being single too. I've been single for 3 years maybe a bit longer lol.

I decided to be on my own for a while as I kept making wrong choices and ending up with the wrong men.

My brother met his wife's on a dating site and I've heard a few other success stories too.

I've tired pof and it was useless lol
I really like a guy at my gym think he likes me too. I always catch him looking.
I'm too shy to approach him.

Ive Seen a few nice guys at the gym. Great place to meet men and get fit at the same time.

Speak to him!! No wonder your single if you're not prepared to mingle!
Just because you start talking, doesn't mean you have to marry him! You could both find out you have a lot in common & you never know, given time you might be able to go for a drink. On the other hand he might be a complete... I'm not sure what. Only one way you'll find out.

I used to be too shy, then I thought sod it. I stopped looking for guys & was more confident & then I met my now bf. I bet all the people that tell you guys to stop looking are the ones in relationships. And all the ones telling you it's not that easy are single

Yep indeed, all the people that tell me to stop looking are all in relationships! Drives me nuts, considering one of those people is my sister and she met her guy online - yeah course she weren't looking when she met him!

This guy I was supposed to be going on a date with on Friday seems to have gone completely quiet on me! no idea why! I'm deffo not chasing...

Definitely not desperate haha, if I was, I'd be in a relationship now as every single one I meet wants to go out again but I find something that is wrong with them :cry: xx

I dont actually mind being single! It would be nice to meet someone but Im a single mum and I dont think ill meet anyone for years! I dont socialise or go anywhere where I could meet someone but at the money I just have so much that I want to do/achieve for me and my daughter that im just focused on that. I do get lonely though hopefully I wont be single for ever but I don't see it changing anytime soon!

It is true though if you stop looking it will happen.

My mum told me to write a list of everything I was looking for in a guy and keep it somewhere safe as she had read someone who did that then found the man of her dreams. Anyway I did that, kept it in my purse for about 12 months. Had been on lots of dates and dating websites. Was on the verge of giving up. Took the list out one to show a nail client. Never put it back in my purse as I thought I'll redo what I'm looking for. A few days later I was thinking of deactivating my pof account. Decided to go on the meet me section where you tick yes no or maybe on people's pics. Saw a guy from work and thought sod it, ticked yes thinking no one pays attention to it and I'll delete my account tomorrow. Woke up the next morning to a message from him and it went from there. Been together nearly 2 years and its by far the best relationship I've had. We never argue and get on so well. Never give up hope as things do happen when you least expect it x 😊

I just never see a picture and think wow! Definitely more of a real life person. POF is no good for me! Ah good luck I hope you have a lovely time. I would just get a tape measure and hold it against myself at his height just to make sure 😂 x

I was lucky. First one I met was a very pleasant surprise. He had lost weight and been to the gym. He was just dismissive of the fact that his pic was so different from him.
After that I stopped thinking too much about photos. After all I think I look much more hideous in pics than I do in real life

The thing is most of the guys on there try and pull off selfies and I just cringe at male selfies! Pictures that are acceptable on a guy is someone else taking it and smiling. Half of them are weird pictures lol x

I went on a date with a guy like that. This was before dating sites like pof etc, but met him on a website called face party. He was a complete arrogant cock. Still is. Even 10 years later he is still chasing me. 😳 x
