Hi

i have a client booked in tomorrow for a back wax. I have the Clean + Easy roller wax system which i love but i haven't done a back with it yet although i have experience of back waxing with pot + spatula.

Can anyone give me any tips?

thanks
BB

Just the same way you would do with pot make sure you trim apply pre wax oil and roll on with the direction of growth I tend to work in smaller areas though.

Just looked at your profile you dont have any training info down are you qualified to do this ?

Work down the middle first just either side of the spine - careful not to apply pressure on the spine itself! Remove this, then work in from either side. I often get them to lie on their sides to do the outer bits of the back.

Also make sure you get them to lower their pants a little bit to take the hairline below the waist.

hi

thanks for the advice. Yes i have NVQ levels 2 and 3 + 18 months experience.

Good tip about clearing the middle first thanks.

You may find that a roller wax isn't suitable for a hairy back. I use a very large metal spatula and really press the wax into the back so that the wax reaches the base of the hair.

There really is no need to do a strip down the middle. Make sure you keep the wax nice and thin and really press it into the hair. Stretch the other side of the back as you remove. Good luck. xxx
