Thanks, I used a powder lightener with 20 vol developer and semi permanent color in candy apple red. The brand for both is Influance.

In the crown area I made a few slices about an inch apart, decolorized, then the semi.

Do you reccomend these affinage erasers? Never tried, I wouldn't of thaught that you could've bleached hair after it had been stripped. Does it do as much damage to the hair as mild lightening with bleach would? X

I found it really good, but my client had only that live xxl on as she had her natural colour underneath, good condition hair so I thought fine bleach foils would have been ok and it was, damaged hair and more colour build up I wouldn't have. A few other people have said the eraser wasnt strong enough and didn't take enough colour out though..

It doesn't damage the hair, it actually acts as a conditioning treatment so the hair is left better after being stripped. It is time consuming though, as are all the reducers on the market. I used it in the salon but I wouldnt at home unless the client was willing to pay for the time it'd take me.

Brilliant product but you need to really understand how it works to get the best results from it.
