I have recently been using Berins Blue wax but trained with Perron Rigot wax at college. I was thinking of switching to Euroblonde as I found I have to build a bit more with the hot wax by Berins then with the Perron Rigot. Also I dunno if it's just me but Berins wax doesnt seem as thick? Would anyone recommend Euroblonde over Berins?

I know I am not answering your question here but just wanted to say that the thickness or thinness of hot wax is generally dependent on the temperature of it. i.e. the hotter you heat it, the thinner it gets. However, if you are finding it too thin, I assume it is still a workable temperature or your clients would be letting you know about it!

I can also tell you that Berins was formulated with increased plasticisers, for the precise reason that it can be used more thinly and therefore more economically. So you should find that you don't need to layer it. However, in order for hot wax to be used thinly and effectively, you do need a nice even application with good edges.

I'm completely independent - but would like say that all non-strip wax can be hot and thin in the tin and cool and thick on the stick - it just depends how long you wait! :)

As Zo says - the thinner non-strip goes on the better your edges need to be.

Subjectively I recon it's pretty impossible to find a 'best'. I know what I like I have no problems and therefore no need to change.

I think you should sample both products in the same ambient room temperature with the same customer and the same area on the body to see how you and the customer feel. Then check they both clean up the same.

hth? Jason

How thick are you applying your wax? If you're doing Intimate Waxing with Euroblonde, it should be about the thickness of a pound coin.

I't's it's down to personal choice and what feels right for you. xx
