I have tried almost every mascara on the market - sensitive ones preferably from the most expensive to the least expensive and I cannot find one which I can wear.

My eyes become uncomfortable - sometimes within minutes of wearing and sometimes after a couple of hours.

I have tried having my eyelashes dyed and then using a lash conditioner type of product but it doesnt really give the mascara effect.

Do I have any other options to have lovely eyelashes with impact that dont cost the earth and dont need faff!

I am a glasses wearer so they need to be seen LOL.

Have you tried the mascara that is recomended to wear when people have had eyelash extensions,
this is water based, conditioning and very gentle on the eyes, hth

Do you use eyelash curlers Fi?? I only wear mascara to go out and dye my lashes and curl them for daytime xx
(yes I do use 40 day mascara atm to dye them and my brows as there's a recession on:lol:)

Didnt know there was one.

I have tried mascaras which are recommended for sensitive eyes and also for people who were contact lenses.

I have never really noticed any difference when I curl them - it doesnt make them "bigger" if you know what I mean.

What about a lash tint and LVL treatment on them? I have never had it done but I have seen some lovely results on others

hth

Have you tried Blinc mascara, Fiona?

It's very different than other mascara's. I've never been able to wear traditional mascara without it irritating my eyes, but I won this Blinc stuff in one of the Guild comps and it is utterly fab! It has a totally different way of working than other mascara's (It kind of 'rubber tubes' the lashes) so you don't get any flaky bits at all, which are usually what irritates!

They do small tester sizes too, which you can get for a couple of quid, and for extra wow, they do a lash primer that gives a lengthening effect....and some, for a night out!

This is the US site, but I know you can get it in the UK....and it will probably be on a couple of stands at Excel if you are going, as I know a few make-up companies have added it to their ranges.

Traditional Mascara Problems

Hope it works for you xx

Not heard of that one Lyndsay, but I will take a look.

LVL is a form of lash perming that claims to open the eye and make lashes appear longer.

The mascara that i retail after doing the lash extensions is called
MAX2 special mascara gold,
it is water washable, contains royal jelly and natural herb extracts, hth

another vote for Blinc
PM me if you want a FOC sample.

I just thought I would update this thread.

I have tried the Blinc and I have worn it all day today and there doesnt seem to be any discomfort. I am aware it is there but not in an uncomfortable way. I just need to work out how to get it off LOL.

Thanks for all your help.

You'll be amazed how easily it comes off Fiona......in fact, you'll be more amazed at the fact that it didn't come off all day, when you do see how easy it is!

If you were my client I'd recommend an eyelash perm and then an eyelash tint. I've just done mine, I'm usually a 'four coat a day' kind of girl and this has made a real difference. I still like the mascara for the volume, but I don't feel like I 'have' to wear it now as they are permanently curled up and dark.

Hi Fiona

I have the same problem with mascara and really struggled till i tried the clinique high impact mascara and i LOVE it ive had no problems so far and it washes off so easily, it quite expensive i think it £12.50 but its so worth it so id defo recommend it for you. xxxxx

Thanks I have actually tried Clinique mascaras and no go I am afraid.

I can quite happily recommend the Blinc and will be sticking with it from now on - a wee bit more than the Clinique but at least it is not going in the bin LOL.

I put the primer on today to see if it would make a difference comfort wise and I am still happy and have even fuller lashes.

I am one happy bunny LOL - doesnt take much!

Me too:lol: Where did you get the blinc from Fiona?

If you use the lash primer underneath the mascara you can get a VERY full look!
I sell bucket loads of all the Blinc products to my clients, and have recently started getting quite a lot of people buying it from my online shop.

Supercover sell some great products and you can get them in sample size too at a very reasonable cost including Blinc.

Go into the website, click on 'Blinc Mascara' and there is a video there to see how to apply and remove. HTH.
SUPERCOVER Professional Make-up

I used the primer and the mascara and I am really pleased with the result and it does what it says on the tin LOL.

I even slept in it last night and it is as fresh as when I applied it yesterday - no hint of panda eyes.

I wish I had asked this question years ago.
