Hi has anyone heard of when painting toe nails wrapping feet in clingfilm so you can put shoes straight on?

I have heard of it,
you put oil on the nails before the clingfilm though,
i cant say if it works or not as i have not tried it, i just make my clients a cuppa and chatter them to death while it dries lol

I saw this the other day on a model parts programme, she was modeling feet and she had a ped, they applied cling film and then she put her boots straight on, aparently it does not smudge them or anything, not tried it though:lol:
Off i go to give it a try, any excuse to pamper myself he he

Advise them to wear flip flops when they book :D

there was a huge thread about this ages ago
i would try and find it but i cba sorry lol can someone else do it?

( ps im drunk)

I did it once ages ago and it did work. I was told by my manicure tutor that you could do it and a friend came over to let me practice on her and she lives a good half an hour away, and she wasn't paying, so we decided to give it a go. She went home in boots and she told me the polish survived!

However, I would not like to do this on a paying client. I have a supply of disposable flip flops for peeps who forget to bring their own.

Never tried it but I wouldn't trust a bit of cling film to stop a dent on fresh polish!
