Hi folks me again !!
ok i got some cnd cuticle remover it says apply wait i min and wipe off, so do i remove any excess dead cells after i have removed it or use the cutilcle knife/tool when the gel is on ??

And question 2, i did a consultation for a client whos nails grow upwards (like a ski jump) so how do i go about getting a nice apex with acrylic ? AS they grow up and i want them to curve do i need to use a lot more l&p to build up the apex !!

i apply the cuticle remover, leave for a few mins, then wipe off with couch roll, then remove non living tissue, then remove the existing remover with citrisoak and water

as for ski jump nails i would take them back to a non free edge and tip or sculpt like that ,
every now and then you will need to remove ,and remove her free edge again, otherwise you are at risk from the nail pocket lifting etc,
advise your client that she cannot grow her own nails long naturally because of the ski jump, but she can have beautiful nails all the time, if you take her own free edge down
hth xx

I agree with Lotus regarding the ski jump type nails.

As far as the cuticle remover goes, I apply to all 10 nails & then use my cuticle tool to remove the dead cuticle on each nail. I then use a cotton pad soaked in a water & citrusoak solution to remove the remaining cuticle remover from the nail.

what is citrusoak? do i need to get some of this before i use the cr it says to wash it off with warm water !!

she doesn't have long nails lotus blossom but they are still really sloppy thats why im a bit worried about the apex i don't want to give her paddles  she would never come back !! lol

Citrisoak is a hand wash type product. I spose any hand wash or just plain water would suffice. I have Citrisoak and water mix in a spray bottle so no need to go off to a sink to wash. lol
What do you mean by sloppy???

If you remove all the free edge then there is no ski slope left hun don't be afraid to do this take it all of:lol:
I ran out of citrus soak and have been using a damp pad first to remove excess and then a really good scrub with scrub fresh, not had any problems, but I do miss the lovely smell of the citrus, shoping trip coming up :green:
