Just wondering when you guys who do colour sculpt or 3D work do you have different pots of liquid for each colour used or different brushes.
ie; if sculpting black French style, as my liquid seems to get discoloured very quickly so my pink then looks dirty. I used NS colour powders & Young Nails.
I do use a different brush for colour or glitter tips, and 3d work...
And I do the same as the previous poster I do all of my free edges, clean out my brush and dappen dish, then refill with fresh monomer and use my 'normal' brush for the pinks/clear..
If I am doing 3d work I use the same monomer for all the colours though, as you tend to work much drier with 3d work, you don't really tend to get cloudy monomer, or if you do, the bead is usually that dry that you pick up it doesn't have much chance for clouded monomer picked up by the brush to work its way in...
Or I haven't found this to happen anyway,
Unless of course sometimes I have used black for something and then gone on to do white for petals, sometimes it may have that very slight dirty tinge to it... but it really is slight.
When I do 3d, I pick the bead up quite dry, then place and wipe my brush dry anyway while the bead is settling , so not much chance for the colours to mix, or to run back into the monomer as the brush is so dry, as are the beads I am working with.
Hope this helps, but it may be complete waffle....hey its late !!!
