I am sticking my neck out here and preparing for an earbashing...:smack: but I feel I have to say it all the same... just don't hate me for it ... and if you do... i'll survive
I have been coming on this site for a while because I want to train as a nail technician. I don't want to do a home learning course - ( money making scams as far as I can see ) I can't go to college ( 5 kids, 37 years old and live in Spain...doesn't make that easy for me ) so the only real option is to train on a course for a specific product.
So which one?
I have been reading the threads with intrest and the one that pops up the most is Creative Nail Design. I find that there are many Geeks who are fiercely protective of this brand and it seems that this is a very pro CND site ( obviously I guess with Mr and Mrs Geek being closely associated with Hyperion ).
Anyway I figured something that brings out the 'passionate' side of people must be good so maybe that should be my direction. So I try and find somewhere I can train here in Spain in my area..but alas I am struggling with that so my next option was training at the academy in Manchester as I am from that area originally.
Now here comes the but...
Why should I bother if I will have trouble getting supplies?
It always seems to be the CND geeks who have trouble with their orders....
I have seen replies from people saying you should stock up in advance...this is easier said than done...and shouldn't that also apply to the distributors?
If the company behind CND closes its doors..and it's associates also..without explanation to its loyal customers surely that is worrying? If you advertise you are a CND technician but you don't have enough stock to do your trade what happens? You are told to hang in there...but what about your income? Can you wait for that?
I feel this is never addressed properly. I really would like to go down the CND route...but I cannot abide recurrent stock problems ( I was a Weight Watchers leader and stock issues made my life hell ).
Some of you are going to say go down another route.. NSI...EZflow etc which is a fair comment....
Anyway I was just hoping someone could perhaps put my mind at rest...which way should I go? Should I have faith in this company?
Ok...let battles commence...I will just go for a swim by the pool...drink a vodka or two...get all mellow and calm in anticipation of a good telling off or two....
