Do extractor fans make a difference to your tan?

I've been spray tanning a while now but had a long break and am getting back into it. I have never used an extractor fan but as I'm getting busier I am considering one but wonder if I really need it?
I was told in training once that it changes the way you spray? you have to adjust your gun?
Who finds it makes a difference to the way they spray and do you think they are worth using?

Used an extractor for 2 yrs. Made no different to my method of spray tanning. hthsx

It makes no difference to your tan but of you are doing more than 2 or 3 in the same place then you will probably need one because you will get a fine mist over everything in the room and ruin curtains, carpets and wallpaper eventually.
