What do you like to wear....glittered nails or marbled, coloured or 3d. I think we have moved with the times sooo much now their is alot to pick from.!! Or do you just like to wear none?. :green:

i have been wearing gels for nearly 4/5 years at this stage and my fav has to be the classic white tip, but it gets boring to luck at after a while im loving glitter/sequiens lately

i loathe french , sick of doing it and sick of seeing it. love more extreme looks , even competition style french.
i'll give anything a try.
however i really do like the look of a beautiful natural looking nail.

I like to wear the latest funky nail designs and luckily my best mate does them for me and I get to learn at the same time:hug:
But we are not married etc.
Just so the people who wonder know:lol:
Best mates is much better. I get a lot of questions and the answer is YES a girl and a guy CAN be best mates:lol::lol:

Since I did my training I have done my own hands four times now (I think) but I am getting a little fed up of looking at french. I did a little bit of nail art on my little fingers the other week (first go) and I loved it. I don't think I could have all my tips as glitter or with 3D on but with a little on one finger I think it looks lovely.

Going to try my own with tip and natural overlay with a little 3D flower on little finger next week.. :)

I love looking at 3D and funky designs .. i think they look amazing...but as a personal choice its not for me...i do like a nice short soft white french.

I agree with Angie that although I like to see other people with nail art I dont like to wear it. I dont like p&w on myself either.

I'm old school, I like a natural set with an enamel. It's a good way to sell enamel too!

I love the glitters, colours, and different designs and styles, I just cant do them all on myself, but i do try. Except 3D like that on other just not on myself..x

I like to wear anything that is different on my nails,
at the moment i have an inlaid effect french with blue sequins and stars, and when i move my hand and they catch the light they all change colour,
i have copied this from liza smith :wink2:
and as for you and your best mate judy, i am jealous :green:

Hmmmm,
Depends on the day. I'm so in love with crushed shell combined with glitter. Then again, I'm diggin' the embedded flower and sparkles!

I love funky nail designs,
Glitters, colours, design work anything go's for me,
But then I have my weeks where I just keep my nails natural,
Or apply a french custom blend set,
I suppose it depends on how I feel in myself at the time what I wear on my nails,

And to look at.....I do prefer to look at image after image of beautifully done (imo) design nails,
I just like to look, and think omg I wonder how long they took to do !!!
Lol

in summer I'm all for glitters based on clear powder, acid colors, matching my swimm suit... with some 3D on... and very long.

in autumn and spring I'm more for season colors, brown for fall and pastels for spring, with tiny amount of glitters... and encased nail art.

and in winter I go for more extreme things, bold colors, red, or dark, and 3Ds, nor flowers usually, but using all you can think of.

Hi all,
I love out there nails too... but i must confess.. i get a tad lazy.. after doing millions ( well maybe 10!a week feels like millions) of French White i am sooooooo over them.... I have done my first set of pink glitte tips on my nails... it takes time and with 3 little ones to run after all i want to do is rest not do my nails... but I am going to make the effort and do them every 2-3 weeks with something grand..... When I get my new ezflow collection I am going to attempt the lepoard art I saw on here....
My clients are so boring... any ideas on how to " frock" them up a little?...
Also when I encased some little flowers all the colour was gone out of them within about 2 days?.. why would that happen?.

what kind of flowers?
dried flowers? sometimes they're recolored, and in the monomere the color leaves... but it shouldn't happen after some days...
plastic flowers shouldn't move, neither ceramic

and l&p powders wouldn't move, I've never had this problem even when using whatever you can think of to have the color I wanted... give me more info on these and I'll try to help you out ;)

Mixed response then although mostly soft ,short french !!.... I think its good to have a change now and then...as for 3d...i could not wear them.....my housework, hubby or kids would'nt let me !!

I love it all, natural, glitter, p&w, 3d, airbrush etc as long as it's done nicely.
I normally have longish glitter tips but recently I've preferred to have my nails quite short with just one colour (at the min they're a nice black cherry colour).

I think when it brightens up again (more like IF) I'll probably start having them long and quite glittery again.
I also only ever have my left had done with 3d work if I have it as I cannot, for the life of me, do 3d work on my right hand. Yes it does look rather odd!
