I did my first set at my training last monday and on the tuesday i finished off my models lashes just by filling in some gaps. Abit of remover went in her eye and although it stung a bit it was okay and now 3days later it is very bloodshot and it looks like an ulcer is appearing.
This has put me off doing anymore now. Did i put too much remover on my micro brushes?? Help please

I usually put 1 drop onto the micro brush and kind of flick it to get rid of any excess. Also I keep 1 micro brush dry and use this on under the lash and the wet 1 above the lash. This should stop it going into the eyes. I am still new to lashes, but it does sound like you had a little too much on your brush.
It does sting really badly if it goes in the eye, but usually only for a few seconds and then it goes away, however, it may have been she is also allergic to it.
Sorry I can't be more help xx

Has your friend been to the Dr yet? If not tell her to go ASAP. a bit stingy yes but still bloodshot and an ulcer... tell her to go to Docs.

I do the same as Jen. I'm going to change to a gel remover which should help this.

When I'm removing eyelashes I use micro brush on top (very little amount of remover on it) and sponge applicator underneath - this absorbs any excess. I would also suggest that she sees a doctor.

I use 2 microbrushes to remove-one for the top and one for the bottom of the lashes.
I put one microbrush in the remover and then roll the other microbrush on the first microbrush, then i dab them on the couch roll and this ensures there isn't too much remover on the brushes :D

Hi I agree with Lee-Ann, you must tell your client to get herself to the doctors ASAP you cant take any chances with eyes. It may just be an allergic reaction but it best to be on the safe side. I have to say I don't like using a liquid remover and changed to a gel one about a year ago. Its far easier to use and control it just sits on the lash until the extension comes away and you can cleanse it away.

When she goes to see the doctor make sure you let her know what ingredients were in your remover, Some are really harsh. Lou x

If an ulcer is appearing I wouldn't go to the Dr I would head straight down to A&E.An eye specialist is the best option and this saves any further delay. Not meaning to scare monger cherub but this could be someone's eyesight we are talking about.xx
