Sure people have answered this loads before and i have searched for a previous topic before asking...
if a client is booked in for a facial including face mask and eyelash/brow tint and also chin, lip and brow wax would i be right in thinking i need to do the waxing after the facial treatments? i would do the tints first then the waxing (this was how i was trained)
Obviously i wouldnt be able to apply any creams lotions over a waxed area so i couldnt do the waxing before hand or during the facial??

probably an obvious question but you never can be too sure!

Thanks

yeah if i have a facial and waxing booked in i always do the facial first as to do the waxing first would be leaving the area too sensitive for the facial.

To maximise your time, you could always do the facial, and tint the lashes/brows while the mask is on. Then when you have finished the facial, do the waxing. I always tried to get my clients to book their facials and waxing in seperately as waxing after a nice relaxing facial isn't the nicest combination!!

If you can, try and get the treatments to be booked separately.

If this is not possible, your best bet is to do the facial, tint the lashes/brows whilst the face mask in setting and then wax afterwards. Waxing before the facial may leave the area a little sensitive to the facial products being used

I would wax eyebrows after a facial if the client insisted, however, I would try to persuade them to make a separate appt for the two treatments. But I really would not want to wax lip and chin after a facial, it would totally ruin the experience for the client.

Thankyou for all your responses,i agree it would be far more of a relaxing treatment if the waxing was booked under a seperate appt but the lady struggles to get to the salon anyway so the last thing i want to do is turn down an appt!

Thanks for all of you advice!

:lol:In my opinion waxing before or after a facial is not recommended. Eyebrow shape might be just ok to do but the problem is that the client will be too sensitive before and definitely more after due to exfoliation and all others products used.Better doing the waxing 24 hours before just 4 peace of mind in case of skin reaction.:lol:Eyelash tint is less of a concern as u can do it during the mask.
