What is your favorite nail shape to wear and to create AND why? ;)

I love stilettos................sleek and so user friendly...............
they can make the right nailplate look so sexy.............and if you create the coloured slipper look it is even more of a wow factor and I love WOW factor big time..............

almond shaped nails only because its my natural nail shape and square-shape doesnt suit me

personally... slightly longer and more square... for naturally enhanced nails that is...

It has to be Long and Square for me
I have naturally long nails, So like to keep them slighty longer.

i change my mind all the time on the shapes i like i think it depends on the hand and nail shape as to what suits each client
i will admit i think i will always love the look of a long sq nail that has a beautiful pinched c curve :)

Sorry, but what is stiletto? I've not heard the term.

Thanks!

My favorite shape is squoval because you get the best of two shapes. When I make this shape, I start off square, and then gently "bump" or round the corners.

Yes I'm with you there Diya - I do favour squoval most of the time. I haven't yet tried stilettos as I can imagine the mess I would make of them :o

Square or Squoval.....more support, less breakage.

As long as it's long I like all shapes really. :)
Love stilletto just now, they even make my nails look good n don't get in the way.
However, Antony did a fab lipstick nail on me at Excel n I love that too!!!:)  (So haven't mastered that shape!! )

I agree ... squoval suites most nail shapes and makes practically all nails look more sleek.

Long square is for me, strictly for competition or the young and funkey who have the right nail shape for it. Oh ... and porn stars of course !!!

Oval is the preferred shape for me personally and they never change shape when I am working ... saves time and more work keeping them looking perfect.

Strenghtwise, I do not find one nail shape stronger than another. Enhancement products are strong enough for any shape you choose .... that's why we love them.

Square or squoval for me to always thinks this looks lovley

I live square or squoval, although I do think that almond shape is more flattering on a large hand x

Its amazing how many people come in and say they want them square but by the time i get to file them they have changed their minds and say they want them like mine ... I always keep mine oval as they suit me :) Would love some stilettos though ... am defo going to try them soon :)

I usually have squoval nails, but I've currently got a set of hologram silver stilettos on and I LOVE them!! :D :D

Most of my nail enhancement clients want straight, square nails though *ZzzZZz*.

Funk it up, I say!

I love squoval on myself but will be trying the stilletos soon due to reading geeg's tutorial on them, but squoval is my fave at the min.

Long and oval for me personally, I feel its really elegant....

:o Can some one post a really good picture which shows what squaoval really looks like I dont think I have seen this shaping before....thanks

Squoval for me....a little more subtle than square and suit most finger/hands

Square and long for me but would love to try squoval. When it is time to cut them down I would like to try that shape but don't know how. Yes, what is stilettos?
