I was hoping youd be able to help answer some qs, as I cant seem to get any info from the net!...........ok, did you find the course worthwhile and why? I cant find out exactly what these miracle 7 steps are, and how they can have such a difference? Also, what if clients dont have many hairs there in the first place-how do you work with them to create these amazing brows?! Also whats in the diff kits you can get? Many Thanks!xxx

I think the 7 steps are a combo of threading, tweezing, tinting and trimming etc.

Don't know a great deal about it but there was a thread on here from one of the trainers of this, so search the threads and it should come up with someone you can phone to find out more.
That said I believe part of the 7 steps includes semi permanent brows, which takes care of the lack of hair. It also explains why its priced so high.
If I had the money I would do it, what little I've seen on utube etc the course looks brill.

Ah thankyou both or replying! I did search, but still seem non the wiser lol! I had initially wondered if SPMU was a step, but then disregarded it as its imposs to train for that in the 2 days thats allocated for the training?! There does seem q a hype about it though, and Im really keen still asI love brows and want to specialise in lash/bow enhancements as they make such a diff! Thanks again for your replies!xxx

I've been searching the treads for more info but as yet not found the one that Susie is referring to....i'll keep searching and will post a link if/when I find it! xx

Although Ive not done the HD brow training myself, I have trained in SPMU with same company, and the HD course does not consist of SPMU.

It's 7 steps to the perfect brow, which includes Tinting, waxing, threading, tweezing, etc....

They do have a website you could look on for more info.

Register - HD Brows - 7 steps to the perfect brow! Threading, tweezing, tinting, waxing and more

I would imagine that since the 7 secrets are kept a secret until you do the training, you will be lucky to find anyone who will tell you what they are as it costs a lot of money to go on this course.

Looks amazing though, I would love to learn it x

Would you be able to offer HD brows if you were mobile? As someone said previous semi-permanent is involved and you need to be salon based to offer this service....

Please correct me if I'm wrong!

Yes you certainly could, if you carried the steps out correctly you clients will be coming back for more. The important thing is that their friends will see this a well.

if carried out correctly the brows look excellent, there is no other course to compare.

Can I just correct you there. You don't need to be salon based to do semi-permanent make up. Also, and very interestingly, in most or all boroughs/councils, you don't need a licence to carry out this procedure in someones home, whereas you do if it's in a salon. Very odd. xxx

Hi, semi-permanent is not involved in the "HD BROWS"

You do need a licence even if working from home. I suppose it's down to your district council. You even need it for waxing and piercing.

It boils down to Health & Safety with regards to blood and how the waste from these treatments are disposed of.

This is not the case the council came to see me and you have to be in inspected premises with emergency lighting, sink, paper towel holders. List is endless cost me a fortune to finally get my new licence, it was so easy in the past to get them. If you do this treatment in someone's home you need a one of licence for each place. Or is this written somewhere, as I was told I would be covicted if caught. I told the council about other mobile techs and they told me they would try and chase up but just difficult to catch.

My local council told me that I would have to be inspected for treatments that did from home but they could not inspect client's homes, for obvious reasons, so they told me it would be fine to do semi-perm makeup mobile. I don't think the councils themselves know what to do.

I might be wrong, seem to be more and more as I get older, but the HD brows look like they have had tint put on them in a brow shape and left until it stains the skin and then threaded, tweezed, waxed or whatever afterwards. Clever. ;)

yes this is what they do, and then retail a wee kit so client can fill it in when they get home and the tint eventually wears off.

Ah! I thought that is what they must do. Thank you for confirming that for me, I have been wondering for a while now! :D

Does anyone know how much the training is. And how often would you require a treatment and at what cost?

The training is about £600 + vat for a 2 day course. I think you then have to buy the kit on top as well.
Salons are charging between £25-£40.
I didn't realise that customers had a kit so that they could tint their own brows at home:suprised:

600 quid? Flippin heck! Is it just me?

No it's not just you-lol
I was interested in doing a course similar but there doesn't seem to be any. The HD courses are all held on Thursdays and Fridays which is not good for most salons.
The more i thought about doing the course, the more i realised that you are just buying into a brand really. Tinting, waxing, threading and plucking are what therapists does every day :D
