I have never heard of this in my life either!!
Then again I have only being doing nails for 11 years

Maybe she wants a full set ...for half price lol ;)

Not heard of that one before, do they mean a rebalance / infill or something?!

I would be unsure of offering it this way as people may think that makes it half the price, when its certainly not half the work!!!

Half set......never heard of that before!!!

Maybe she only wants one hand doing...!!!! LOL

Hey hun
I think someone is having a laugh at your expense, as I used to get this all the time when I started out, its because we put full set nail enhancements in our advertisements lol.

I tend to think someone is having a laugh here, as Tiptop says because we say "full set" in our prices

But then again, someone near me used to do a service where she would apply just the tips, and blend . . . but no acrylic/gel, so you got the length, but not the strength (daft imo but there we are, I guess they might just hold up for a day) I don't know if that would class as a half set?

Let us know if you find out!

spoke to her again, seems that places offer this but i've never heard of it before. It's when you get a full set done but the nail enhancment is cut extremely short just covering your natural nail.

Wouldn't call that a half set myself as it's misleading lol

sounds odd....maybe she means a NNO..(natural nail overlay)

either way just say sorry my prices are..£....and leave it with her.

perhaps she only has one hand:green:

theres some cheeky beggers out there isnt there

IF YOU CANT AFFORD IT DONT HAVE IT ! go and get some boots stick on's !

HONESTLY some peeps:irked:

I have actually performed an acrylic nail service on a aldy with one hand :)

And yes, I did only charge her half price. I did tell her she was chancing her arm though

hahaha :)

I have seen "express nails" when it is just the tip applied and blended - no overlay!
Uusally for people who don't want to keep them on but just fancy them for a one off occasion (wedding etc)

Maybe thats it? Half as in half the time? Half the nails?

hth xx

A half set? I would be expecting to only have one hand done if I went in for that service. I would stick to Full set and NNO babes. x
