Gelish, sealing free edge, which way is best?

Dear fellow geeks, im sure there are many threads re gelish application procedure but my question is just about the capping the free edge.what is ghe best way is it to thinly glide brush over nail plate and then pull over the free edge or is it better to swipe the brush right across? What do you find works better for you? Thanks x

Geeg has done a fantastic tutorial on shellac application where she describes how to seal the free edge - it has helped me immensely! Although its written for shellac application I'm sure you can apply the same sealing technique to gelish:

When I did my Gelish course I was taught to cap the free edge in a different manner to the way my Shellac course taught me. Different products, different styles of applying.
The Gelish course was worth its weight in gold for the tips given on polishing with the Gelish product, I would recommend taking the course to learn more.
