Do any of you offer gift vouchers? I was thinking of doing this as a way of getting more clients for instance for peoples birthday give them a money off voucher/money towards a treeatment. What do you think? Also if you do where did you get your vouchers from? I have my stationary from vistaprint but can't seem to see any vouchers on their site, but would want my same design which is from them IYKWIM?

I have just had some done by Vista. I used the small postcard and just did a bit of editing.
Really pleased with them.

I offer two types of gift voucher in my salon:

* Open vouchers - eg. £10 gift voucher where they can choose any service priced £10 or above (they would pay the extra if it was above £10)
* Service vouchers - eg. manicure voucher, back massage voucher which entitles them to that particular service only

Both are very popular, especially on the run-up to Christmas. I also state on the back of the voucher that they can only be used against services, not retail products.

I have home-made ones that I designed myself with the salon logo details etc on my own laptop and printer, just bought some nice card to print them on from tesco and hey presto!

Cheap as chips!! lol. HTH xx

if you go onto cards on vistaprint you can use those as gift vouchers, I pay extra for the colour to be inside too.

I designed my own vouchers and had them printed as the small postcards from Vistaprint. I think they worked out at about £14 for 100 which is excellent value.

I sell quite a few vouchers and let them choose between a cot value or a treatment. However if when the recipient comes in to redeem their voucher and they want to change the chosen treatment they can choose an equal value treatment or pay the difference.

We done ours on vistaprint. we got the postcard ones and made them to how we wanted them.
We offer them at the value the customer wants or they can have them for a treatment. They are also only valid for 3 months from purchase.

Got mine from vista too, only i think i used the 'invitation' template and then completely changed all the text!

I sign up for their emails then wait till they are free and only pay postage.

On the back (grey printed side) I rubber stamp the vouchers - to validate them - and I put the amount or treatment bought just above that.

Sorry, it doesn't seem to load. You probably need to be logged in as you say. Any chance of taking a piccie with your camera? I'm just trying to design mine now and am struggling to think of all the info that needs to go on it.

Cheers,
Hazel
