I've tried using the Trendy Nail Wraps and find them far too thick in comparison with the Minx. Decided to go on proper Minx training and swap my product choice. To cut a long story short I just contacted TNW to return some that I had bought online and they were very pushy, didn't really want me to return them, said I was obviously doing it wrong and wanted to put me on training somewhere nearby. I pushed it and said I was sure Trading Standards would agree if the product has not been opened and I have a receipt that I would be okay to return them. I've now got to wait for a return call to confirm if I am able to return them... Anyone else had similar problems but been able to resolve them??

Can't comment on the specific company but there are some very specific rules about buying online. You can return anything without a reason within a period of time that I think is 14 days (could be 30 days, not 100% sure). It doesn't matter what the terms and conditions are. It is an online thing

Sorry it's a bit vague but it is the case

That's certainly worth knowing. Sometimes things aren't quite what you expect them to be as you can't see them or touch them,I'll remember that x

Yep sure that the rules for buying online are different i think it comes under distance selling, something to do with not actually seeing the goods before you buy them :)

The distance selling regulations give you 14 days "cooling off" in which time you can return goods.

You don't say how long ago you ordered your goods from Trendy Wraps. The 14 days is from your date of order so unless you have had them for more than this length of time you should be fine! :D

Thanks for clarifying my vague reply :o

I keep dipping in and out as a break to my book writing :D

Thanks, that's good to know. NB - TNW contacted me today and said I could return them...phew. That'll pay for the Minx training course!!

That's good news, I hope you get on better with Minx :D
