Having first go at PopIts

hi guys going to have my first go at popits today or tomorrow on my 16 year old daughter cant wait ive read the treads on here just want to check few things first do i still put a tip on , how do i know where to do white to , when i do infil do i do by hand not using popit, and what about rebalance do i take it right down to use popit or just file some of and apply popit last thing does anyone know if they do a training course for popits in my area thanks xx

dont take my word for it because ive not had any proper training yet but when i played with my popits i just put a tiny dot on the popit (on the outside) to show where my smile line needed to be, obviously i measured it up on the nail first. but yeah as far as im aware you can still use tips, just prep and apply them as normal and then use a 1 bead method of acrylic in your popit. x

I always use tips. Ive never tried them without.

PopIts are for quickness so use well less white tips and a one colour overlay.
It's not quick doing it the way you think you should do it in your post. Not saying you can't do it that way, but you need to be careful that the white does not go hard and neither should it be too soft .. both will give you Ag.

Do it the easy way and hey will look beautiful and you will be more pleased with the results.

Yes CND educators give classes with PopIts.

I use a white tip on the nail and clear L&P in the popit. it gives a fabulous glass like finish. it took Wee Fee from CND (Fingertips Centre Edinburgh) less than two hours to show me, and practise afterwards. well worth the 1 to 1

what about rebalance do i take it right down to use popit or just file some of and apply popit

i have done a couple of rebalances - just do a usual tidy up round cuticles thin product all over and popit again.
have never done more than 1 rebalance on a set of popits (using popits)cos having to replace smile line etc - have to use traditional method then
