Thank you all for your compliments!!:green:
The first pic- the green with sliced glitter is a base colour of Green Glitz (a color I custom blended)
I use the dash, pinch, smidgen measuring set for mixing my recipes; as well as a teaspoon measuring set (1, 3/4, 1/2, 1/8).
To make Green Glitz, you'll need the colour blend "Jade", as well as "Jaded"-
"Jade" recipe:
3 dashes CND Mosaic Jade
1 dash CND Perfect Color Soft White
1 pinch CND Mosaic Cobalt Glass
1 pinch CND Mosaic Golden Glass
"Jaded" recipe:
3/4 tsp jade (from above)
1/4 tsp CND Perfect Color soft white
1/8 tsp CND Mosaic cobalt glass
1/8 tsp CND Mosaic golden glass
"Green glitz" recipe:
2 dash jaded
1 pinch emerald glitter dust
I get my glitters from
Too Much Fun - unfortunately there seems to be a problem lately with trying to order from them, I have called and tried to order through the website... however you could probably use any green glitter- as long as it is micro-fine (not large, chunky glitter)
This pic was a rebalance- I thinned down all existing product, PREP the natural nail growth, and used Scrubfresh to cleanse the nail.
I laid down a
very thin layer of the green glitz to sculpt the smile line & free edge, then placed pieces of the sliced green glitter (available at many art stores/sites-
The Nail Experts has great products) on top- using clear powder to pick up pieces & place them strategically... then used clear over the entire free edge & smile line to seal in the glitter & finished by applying the clients' custom blended pink color to zones 2 & 3.
Finished the nail by shaping & refining the surface with 180 grit, then applied Brisa UV Finishing Gloss & 2 minute cure- done!
Design took 1 hr 30 mins, price $70.
Hope this helps!
All the best,
