I've just been asked to do two male leg waxes for charity. They are both being sponsored for a good local cause and are willing to go through the agony (in their own words!) of a leg wax. My question is - do i do the whole leg or just Knee to ankle? these two men are never going to wax again!! (or maybe i'll convert them) To be honest, i haven't got a lot of experience of male waxing. I've only just returned to this industry after a long break and retrained, so im getting confident and building up my speed, but i'm afraid that i'll take hours to do it in front of lots of spectators and get myself into a tizzy.
this is my first time to post anything, love the site :)

 Hi i'm fairly new to site too. Also had time away to have kids, If i were you id just do a half leg on them. I'm sure they will be happy to have only half done.
Just cover the whole of the front of the leg before removing and not too thick then you can whip it off nice and quick. You may even get a few new clients from it when the wives see how good you are. I'm sure it will be great fun.
Enjoy Faye.;)xx

Hi hun!

I guess i would just ask them how high they wanted me to go. Maybe if they always wear shorts, they may want it to be taken just above where their shorts come to.
Good luck with it. I think it's fantastic that you are doing it for charity. What a lovely idea!

Hiya, what a great idea, sounds like a lot of fun!

I'd personally take the pragmatic approach - start with the lower leg and see how things go - if they are tolerating it well and you are progressing OK then work upwards towards the thigh.

Speaking from experience though, the first time I was waxed, I found that the hairs on my upper thigh on my inside leg were particularly coarse and did cause some blood spotting - you may want to bear this in mind - although it would of course be more fun for the audience for the men to take as much torture as they can get lol :green: - especially if there are people willing to increase their donation on the night for you to wax more off the men!

I did a sponsored leg wax on two male teachers for my son's school. It was in front of all 750 pupils and I wouldn't have considered doing anything but ankle to knee. In fact the teachers sat up in chairs so I only did the fronts of their legs. You end up going quite slowly for the benefit of the audience's oo's and aaah's so it was fine to just do the smaller area.

You will probably find if you have an audience that your volunteers will not even consider full leg as they'd have to remove trousers.

Thanks for that girls. I think I'm just going to go for it and have some fun inflicting pain on these two:biggrin:!! I think if they are happy to just do as far as the knee then i'll leave it at that. But thats a good idea Ruth, an incentive to get more money raised for more hairs could be good fun too!!
