Ive just found out that im pregnant! im delighted!

Just wondered if the fumes from the acrylic which i work with will effect me in anyway? ive had 2 miscarriages in the past so obviously need to know if i'm in any danger with my work?

I don't think anyone can give you a definitive answer here. Fumes should be safe in a well ventilated room but if you were to miscarry again you would probably look for things you did wrong or risks you think you took. I have had a miscarriage and blamed myself for using a weedkiller on the garden days before. There is just no way of telling really.

If I were you I would take sensible care but you really must make up your own mind my darling.

I do wish you the very best with this pregnancy, I hope you can relax enough to enjoy it.

I totally agree with the above posted, I have had two children, and knows lots of people have had kids while working with l&p, the vapours (not fumes I have been told lots of times LOL) isn't a problem if you work regarding to companys, so work safe and take care of yourself!

Have you considered wearing a mask? A girl at college wears one because she suffers from Astma.

Think you should follow your heart on this one, maybe don't use L&P for the first three months just to be extra careful :?: If it was me I would limit myself but everyone is different. Good luck x

first of all congratulations x i just did a search i put in pregnancy and fumes on the first page go down to working while pregnant from dancia 88 as geeg has put a link on that may answer your questions .
