Hotels near to the NEC

Hi just wondered if anyone could recommend a nice hotel not too far from NEC in birmingham (that doesnt cost the earth as well!) ?

I have stayed at the Crown Plaza a couple of times and it is great.

Look at places like Premier Inn or Travelodge. Also birmingham centre ... the train goes from New Street (in the centre) to the NEC very regularly.

theres the premier inn or holiday inn its next to it. and the little owl is next to it.... its lovely there

This place can vary dramatically in room rate....sometimes its quite expensive, sometimes its quite good value - depends whats on, but it is right next to the NEC complex, and is a nice hotel too. Worth checking...
