Hi

Sorry cant help you with the kit but I have just started college doing level 2 beauty therapy and I love it, I go 2 nights a week but I could go every night i enjoy it so much!

Good luck with the course.....just a thought has anyone else not got the kit on your course could you maybe see if someone wanted to share 1 with you till you can get your own and team up and study together?

hello. Iv jus started a beauty specialist course at my local college...... i have to say its a lot £350 for a kit. my kit for college was £150.00 this was purchased through Aston & Fincher which was recommend through college but i have since found cheaper. Also have u tried student support as they might be able to help u with funding. Also were only using facial and manicure at the moment and we ve been told we can purchase in stages.

my course entails manicure and pedicures, facial, tanning, waxing, eye lash tining, perming, false eye lashes. and make up.

sorry i cant help but do find out about help for funding, they should have advised you about the kit from the start and good luck and i'm sure you will enjoy it. x

Have you contacted the Kit supplier yet? Sometimes they will allow you to pay in stages, or sell you a basic kit that you can build on.

thanks to all you girlies for replying to me

i cant get any funding with the kit as i work full time so no benefits for me :{

the trainer thinks i might get away with not having to buy the kit as i have all manicure and pedicure stuff already ,,i do think it is a bit of a waste as she has said we only use our stuff whilst practicing on each other and when we become a live salon we use their stuff as colledge are charging for the treatments

been and bought stationary to day and a pencil case bless me

i have also looked on line and found kits a lot cheaper as purchased seperatly do any of you other ladies that are doing the same course have check list for the things you got in your kit as i could do with finding out before i turn up on tuesday evening for facial class xxxxxx
