hi all

im looking for a pure white sparkly powder

i have previously mixed my creative perfect white with some prisma and twilight powders but they never seem to come out as white as id like they tend to have a slight tint to them - do you always lose some of the purity of the white when mixing with glitters ?

does anyone know of a brand / powder out there that is a pure white sparkly
powder ?

thanks

kx

Hi, I know Ezflow has a sparkly white in their Earthtones kit. The colors are also available seperately.

I think that when you mix a white (extra white) powder with glitters, the glitters are somewhat "covered" by the white when applied. Therefore they don't sparkle that much.

hi

im looking in ez flows catalogue at the moment - doesnt look like a bright white in that collection ?

there is however one i was wondering about in the carnival collection - Show Me Your Beats ? can anyone tell me what this one comes out like ?

i do have the dare to be dazzling kit and the stayling alive isnt that white

thank you

kxx

CND Metro, i have what looks like a sparkly white in that set....

Havent tried it yet so may not be what you are looking for.

The Carnival colors are based on clear powders, so "Show me.." is transparent. A bit like the colors in de Dare to be Dazzling-kit..

You can always make a white french and then put "Show me.." on it, cap it in clear (work thin!!) and voila!

thanks babe yes i have those too not quite right !! however twilight is just a darling in the warm opaque pink mix !!

have just spoken to ezflow and they are sending me a couple of samples - how fabulous is that !!

this is for a couple of brides, which is why im after a pure white to go with their dresses !

would using a white powder and adding something like nail graphix's diamonds in the rough work...??

Nila Graphix Like a Virgin is pure sparkley white ans you mix it with your own white powder......

thanks guys

have just been looking at the diamonds in the and rough and like a virgin

any ideas how the two compare ?

kxx

I have both and they are very similar just that 1 is finer than the other....diamonds in the rough is finer and i would say whiter....like a virgin has larger pieces.I would go for diamonds in the rough

thanks angie and everyone else for your help and very quick responces xxx:hug:

The "Granite" from the Earthstones collection is a bright white with a slight twinkle in it, it is pretty.
However I did find when I used it that once on it doesn't actually come out that twinkly although that could've just been me not applying it thin enough?
I have done as PrimaVera said and added the "Show me your beads" over the white which does come out nice.
You could also use "Limestone" from the Earthstones collection thinly over your white too to give it some twinkle, that also works well.

Sorry Angie this is the wrong way round LOL.

Diamonds in the Rough has the larger particles.

 oops sorry ...looking at mine now and the like a virgin is chunkier than diamonds in the rough...how strange,

mines the other way round....i must have the wrongs lids on the wrong pots...PMSL..x

I don't use white powder for white glitter enhancements. I use clear powder and mix it with the white glitter and that way the glitter looks more concentrated.
