Mock me if you will but in 1986 having found a crumpled up £20 note down the back of my sofa andrather than give it back to the cleaner:eek: I somewhat sneekily invested it buying £20 worth of B&Q shares.:lol:

In todays market there only worth about £2.50...that was a good investment

Ive been calculating things and if you do indeed nip down to the local B&Q and buy a lamp for say £20...im reconing that that is going to give me a return on my origional £20 investment of somewhere in the order of £00.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001/2p

Yey........give it anouther couple mil years and I will be well set to retire :lol: :lol:

As I'm quite new to tanning just wondered if you really need a clip in lamp as long as I spray as taught ??? xx

You only really need one if the lighting is poor.
If you do use clip on lamps make sure you keep the leads tucked away so no one trips and that you use low energy lamps...you don't want to go melting your tent if the lamp gets to hot.

I personally have found that for me a miners helmet with a lamp on top works best for me

Hi Hun,
Yes my lighting is poor, I have a strip light, but the ceiling is low and top of tent blocks out most of the light.
Been to B&Q got 2 small halogen type things, lots of small blue lights, no good at all, so they can go back, then focus DIY, larger halogen, with clip & hook, but whole thing too heavy for my tent, so that is going back too. So just for tonight I will use my nail desk lamp, held on with market stall clip. Should be OK until I can get the correct lamp for the tent.
I have 5 ladies coming tonight. Got it going at home salon at last.
Lotsa luv x  x

Well thank you Gillian..when im 85 and have cashed in my £20 investment and from the £2.50 I eventually make I shall spend it on a larger with a black current top  whilst toasting you and I shall remember you and your trip to get those strawberry plants that contributed so much to my pension fund and thank you from the bottom of my heart:hug:

Sienna X do an excellent clip-on lamp with bendy arm which is perfect for the spray tan cubicle, especially when you are mobile and never know what situation you are going to be given, and strangely enough people always want the blinds closed:lol:

I got my clip-on lights from L. E. Electrical, I think they're in Peterborough, and they did a very nice postal service for me.

The lamps were £10 each plus P+P, and a lovely man called Jeremy helped.
