Hi everyone,

I was just browsing through the site i always buy my lash supplies from and they have brought out a new glue! It is for sensitive eyes and can be used to apply bottom lash extensions aswell.

I just wondered if anyone offered bottom lash extensions aswell as normal lash extensions?

If so how do you go about doing it? Do you get them to keep thier eyes open as long as possible?

Hi Em

you need to have specialised training for lower lash application, its important to have the training because it is a different procedure to the upper lash application, you would need to be certified and add this to your insurance. I know AH Francis do it incorporated in their Masterclass training but I am absolutely sure the other major lash companies do training for it aswell, I think it will be a question of giving them a ring or looking on their websites :) HTH xx

it can also be very hard to get insured to do bottom lashes as its an open eye treatment.

im not saying you cant as there are people doing it so they must have been able to get it but its not as easy to get as insurance for upper lash extensions so it may require shopping around.

most companies that offer lower lash training will require you to have completed so much experience and sometimes case studies before you are 'allowed' to attend lower lash training.

glam lash also have lower lash courses as im sure do many others

sorry that doesnt really tell you very much x

Hello! Im the trainer in manchester for Nouveau lashes.
We do bottom lash training on our masters course.
Its done with the eye open.
We do two adhesives, pro5 and pro10. we tend to use the pro10 for bottom lashes as the vapour isnt quite as strong, although I know some still use the pro5 and dont have a problem.

I do bottom lash extensions, but I do them with the eyes closed. But I'm in the US and we don't have to take extra training for bottoms.
I tape up the upper lashes so they are out of the way and the lowers are free and clear. Sensitive glues don't last as long as the good, fast drying glues. And since there is really only one layer of lashes, the client will notice the loss right away.

Where do you get your supplies for bottom lashes?
