Anyway was just after some feedback to see if there is anything you think should be changed or added.

Hi,

Its a nice site, I would however if I were the designer not built using old fashioned style tables which wont do much good for Search Engine Optimisation purposes and would also change the heading you have: Manicures/Pedicures/Nail Enhancements ect to html Heading tags like h1, h2, h3 ect.

Tell the designer and they should understand this if they are good enough.

Are you referring to the treatment menus? They are rendered by means of an XSL stylesheet (each list of treatments is retrieved from the database as an XML document and passed through an XSL stylesheet to render the XHTML) - so this would be a question of changing the XSL stylesheet to generate alternative XHTML (probably divs with appropriate CSS styles) instead of the existing tables. And because the XSL stylesheet is generic to all treatment menus displayed across the entire site, the change would only need to be made in one place.

It looks fab hun, loving the colours and the logo.
Well done to you all xxx

Wow, your daughter must be very artistic - lucky thing :)
Yeah I would expect Ruth will have worked her magic with the SEO. She's quite good with computer stuff :wink2:

xx

Yep she's very artistic. She doesn't get it from me!!
She designs all my price lists, logos, leaflets,A board posters and she wraps all my soaps up that i sell, with black and red crepe paper and ribbon. And she's only 16!!
Thanks for the comments everyone even if i didn't understand some of them!

Angie... what Geoff was implying was that there may be some tweaks that could be made to the underlying XHTML that is used for the treatment menus on your website which could improve SEO (i.e. not using HTML tables); my reply was saying that to do so would be a relatively straightforward change, as you would only need to change a couple of files (the CSS file for your site, and the XSL stylesheet that is used to generate the XHTML for the treatment menus).

So a fairly technical point, and one which must not detract from the fact that the entire website is 100% compliant with XHTML 1.0 Strict (well it wasn't quite 5 minutes ago as I found a little BUG on some of the pages, which has since been fixed LOL)...

Yes Ruth, I thought that's what it meant! Parlez vous anglais?!!
