Is there a specific way to apply a form behind a nail so it holds the shape of that nail.
I remember watching my trainer do it when I was on my Creative course and she made it look really simple.
I have tried a few times-on myself-since and sometimes its fine but usually I press it against my nail from behind with another finger as I just cant seem to get it flush.
Any ideas???

Go Greg ...... I have been very luck to spend some time with Greg last January and again this ~October the man if Fab.....

I kept a bookmark to this video because it was the first 'professional' I saw using a drill. I had thought originally this was a great no no but now realise that like with everything else in this industry training is the key to all.:) I'm now thinking of doing a course myself as it may be a great way of reducing time for re-balances.

Holding the form as if I were applying it, I 'pooch up' the form with my thumbs and I 'roll it and rock it' up under the free edge until it fits perfectly.

Only then do I slide my thumbs up the sides of the finger to stick it in place while the fit is perfect.

Then I 'unstick' my index fingers and secure the barrel of the form in place.

Make sure the back is secure and away I go.

I'd just add that trying to fit it on your own hand is quite hard... try it on someone else, you'll see you get the trick

Very true ... I don't use paper forms on myself ... I use ACra-C re-usable forms. Eat your heartout ... you can't get them anymore.

 I have some and I LOVE THEM !!!
Haven't managed to use them on someone else yet though, only myself...
I keep thinking I am going to hurt them while I am faffing about trying to apply them lol,
If anyone has any tips on applying these to "other people" lol please feel free to tell me :green:

I know! lol.

I use paper forms on myself still... but not that often anymore, I usually keep a clear base and buff off/reaply above it...

for stilettos (not yours gigi, loooooong ones ;)) I can't do it with any other kinds.

but I'm allergic to most of these "skin" glues which is why I picked the clear base option...
