Hey I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have an Interview at Nailzone on Monday Afternoon. I have to do a set of Clear tips with the white and pink.

1.How long are they expecting it to take?
2.Will they provide the stuff to do it?
3.Or if i take my own stuff does it matter that im not using the products they use in salon?
4. Should i do something out of the ordinary to perhaps show my full potential?
5.Does it matter the only thing i havent trained in, is Gel?

Please help Guys!! Im rather nervous about it :( x

Haven't they given you the slightest clue as to what you should expect ?? It sounds as if not. I would go armed with your own things but I think it is pretty shabby that they seem to have told you nothing to prepare yourself.

Hmm, it's not good that they haven't told you any of these things. I agree with Gigi... take your own things with you, that way you are prepared either way.

and Good Luck!!

Hi Tasha

As Nailzone are open 7 days (from recollection) why not give them a call tomorrow? I'm pretty sure if they have training on then that runs on a Sunday/Monday and used to be at the Hope Street branch - so you may be able to chat to one of their educators? I'm sure they'd fill you in on the details of what to bring/expect.

In regards to products Nailzone use their own brand for acrylic (and gel I think), so it would be pretty unfair for them to expect you to use that in a trade test for the first time! More likely they'll ask you to use your own kit and if successful in getting the job convert you over to their brand.

Cheers

Derek
