hi i normaly use nsi but got a sample pack of ezflow hd to try and i thought it was ok sister went away happy but 4 days later and ive had to take them off tonight as she had bad lifting on 3 on one hand and couple on other where did i go wrong:mad: i done my prep good help any advise before i try again over weekend

You're still training (as per your profile) so it's more than likely soft tissue contact that's caused the lifting.

Are you positive you removed all of the non living tissue from the nail plate during prep and also dehydrated and removed all oils etc?
Describe your prep routine to us, we might be able to help you

also hi def has to be used with a drier ratio than a lot of products.

This can frequently happen when trying Sample kits as they don't come with training or the recommended preparation products (usually). Sandi is right in the sense that you could be getting product on the skin, but I would also throw in that you may not be completing preparation in the way that the system you are trying requires. Contact EZ-Flow and ask them about their recommended prep routine. That will more than likely make a pretty substantial dent in the lifting problem.

Personally, I kind of cringe at sending out Try Me kits. Chances are, the users end up using a brush that still contains another monomer (so you get contamination), to Susan's point - they don't know or understand the ratio and to my above point, they don't understand the requirements of the preparation routine.

However we do, do I guess needs must! :D

Best of luck!

HD also is used with a primer, did you get that in the kit too

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think HD monomer is primerless. Q monomer needs a primer.
Marion xx

It has been been a while since i took the class and i have stuck with my good old CND ever since so you could be right Marion but i was sure we used a primer,
i will have a look when i get to the salon tomorrow, i will dig it out of the back of beyond lol

HD is EZflows primerless product......you need primer when you use the Q monomer.

Sorry, just repeated what was just said lol....that will teach me to start a reply and come back and finish it five minutes later.
sorry again
xx

The best way to get the best out of any product is to take a class with it.

I hate trial and error, it's always error at every trial. No one needs that in their business. Quickest way to loose clients. Nor is it giving a product a fair go.

I like trial and success. Success comes with learning from the experts who use a product and who know it inside and out. To me it is so obvious!

hi i have booked a class but got to wait til end of september so ezflow sent me example pack to try so had a go maybe i should just wait might be better or i might end up taking them of weekly lol i try doing it drier as was doing med/ wet ratio thanks for all help xx

I'm assuming you meant to write that you remove NON living tissue which is cuticle. Of course we never remove any living tissue.

Not sure what you mean about 'corners'. Side wall and eponychium area need to be very thoroughly done.

Hi,
i also use exflow products and find them better than what i have used before, ezflow do reccomend you use Ez bond which dehydrates the nail plate. Did this come in your trial pack? Dont know if this is of any help to you but i have found that since using this my sets have been alot better!

hi oops did mean non living should check what i write before posting lol my corners i meant side walls etc sorry for mix up xx

hi no ez bond didnt come in pack so i just used my normal nsi dehydrater so this time i used scrubfresh today they looked ok so fingers crossed this time thanks for everyones help xx

i hope all goes well.

i do believe that ezflow and scrubfresh dont make a good combination though.
have a quick search to check. just in case.

EZF and Scrub Fresh work just fine together.

Scrubfresh works with any system. It is a nail dehydrator and sanitizer ... it does the job, which it does better than any other, it works just perfectly. If people use it incorrectly by saturating the nail so that it is not dry then even work with CND you would get lifting!!

Use just two pumps on a gauze pad (damp not wet) and scrub each nail for 5 seconds. It is not a wipe over it is a SCRUB over ... that is why it is called SCRUB Fresh and not WIPE Fresh .

It's all a matter of knowing how. So sorry to bust the little myth but it is incorrect.

appologies if that is inaccurate. i felt sure i was advised this when i was using ezflow products. might be my mind playing tricks or maybe i was advised inaccurately.

the EzFlow HD system is primer OPTIONAL it doesn't require a primer, but you can use it with a primer if you wish.

I didn't have much success using scrubfresh with EzFlow Q monomer or HD systems, i have no problem when using EzBond....

HD is also used dry when picking up a bead, most people use it too wet the first time.

I agree that sample pack can be a nightmare, but i explain they are there to get a better idea of the product you are looking to invest in, so try trial packs on tips, get used to the mix ratio, see the colour of the pink and white etc...HD is known for its lovely bright pink and crisp white. You can of course use a trial kit on a real person to test for lifting but if you don't have the training on that product what are the odds on you getting it perfect the first time you use it? especially if you don't have the recommended dehydrator and primer...
