Hi guys, im new here, and this looks like a great place to share my problem and see if anyone can help me.
My facial hair on my upper lip and chin is getting stubbely caused by waxing from a young age - i am mediteranean so have dark hair.
Following a wax (i use gigi microwave wax pot) the hairs on the sides, which are darker, wont budge unless i pluck them

Then two days later, i have stubble again.

I dont mind waxing often, but what can i do to remove the stubborn hair?

I do let them grow a bit, a cm long maybe, but wont budge with wax.

Is there a stronger/better wax i can buy? or another method of hair removal which might work better?

I dont want electrolysis/laser as i can afford it, or wait between sessions, id literally be house bound.

Im leaving the wax to dry and then pulling it off, tel me if maybe i am doing it wrong.

Im worried that when im older, il look like a man :-(

LOL......I'm sure you are beautiful and I promise you that you won't look like man if you do this:-

Ok, let them get as long as you can bear without feeling the need to put a bag over your head to go out of the house. Then get them waxed with a superior non strip wax. Perron Rigot wax is excellent for facial hair and as it only sticks to the hair and not to the skin, you can go over several times. I've seen it remove upper lip hair that's just broken through the skin.

Now the hard bit. Once you've had it waxed, you must not pluch or mess about with them. You have to wait until you get them waxed. I can hear you screaming at your computer now 'I can't bloody walk around with a moustache for 4 weeks'. Well you don't have to. Even if you get it waxed every week to start with, as long as you leave it in between, you'll then be able to leave it 10 days, then 2 weeks, then 3 weeks and then 4 weeks. Voila, nice soft upper lip hair.

I promise you that if you do as I say, it will work but remember, NO PLUCKING. Oh, and I'll know, because I can see you on my KimCam.

awww thanks so mcuh for the advice, i really will listen and do exactly what you have said, as hard as it is - i will do this, thanks so much x

any idea where i can buy Perron Rigot wax thnaks

lets hope we can get some answers

Sorry for the delay but I've been out this evening.

Ok, you can call Thalgo on 0207 512 0872 and you need to order a bag of Perron Rigot, Euroblonde. Let me know when you get it and I'll talk you through how to do what I said. It's sooooo easy.

If they say they have a minimum order policy, just say that I said it will be ok to make a small order. You might even be able to buy a sample bag.

Maybe you would be better off finding a salon that you could go to and let them do it professionally for you so you don't end up doing yourself an injury. Which part of the country are you in?

im in north london, i wont do myself an injury dont worry- im good at these things, all i want to know is what to do with the wax after ive bought it, and where to melt it thanks :lol::lol:

Please don't take this the wrong way.. but if you are unsure on how to melt the wax, then I don't feel it appropriate to give any further advice on where or how to use the wax itself. Waxing is a specialist field and with this being a professional site, it would be wrong to advise you to do this treatment on yourself - no matter how confident you felt you were.

There will be a salon close to you that would be able to help you ... I would think Kim isnt that far from you actually ... go to her, you would be in very safe hands there.

is this the same as perron ringot? (probably spelt wrong!) and which type is best?....euroblonde etc...

sorry for all the questions

thats fine i totally nderstand that, i will seek te advice else where, i have been waxing for years since i was 13, probably the reason for the problem.

i am just not familiar with the waxing pellets, i assume i would use a wax heater - wondered which one.

idont want to have to keep going to get it waxed, as it grows back by the day and i need to have the system at home, to use when i needed it.

i am very competant and would never take a risk on myself.

i own a beauty website and although not a pro, this is very much my field -

i use the gigi wax and thats easy - microwave and go - so i do wax on myself - x

if anyone can help that would be great

I didn't realise that you weren't a pro but don't worry. As long as you only use it on yourself and not others, that's fine. Otherwise you really would need to train. Make sure you don't overheat it or you'll burn your skin. xxx

Yes. Euroblonde is best for Brazilians but is also fab for the face and underarms. xxx
