Hi All

What would you recommend: Mix your fine glitter with l&p or buy the pre designed tips.. I love the look of some of the pics on the albums alot of you geeks have.. Please give advise on whats best and affordable..

Thanks in advance.. xx

dont buy them, mix 1 part glitter to 3 parts powder and apply. its very easy, easier than doing white powder.
or if you doubt your ability, size the tips you need and buff off the shine then put some adhesive over them and sprinkle the glitter on before you fit the tips. let the adhesive dry first and then proceed by overlaying the whole nail with clear product.

It is so easy to mix your own glitters and I think it's cheaper too. Plus it's easier to rebalance IMO. :)

sets up just fine, just dont exceed that mix ratio of 1 part glitter to 3 parts clear powder.

i use my cuticle pusher tool to measure with, it has a sort of scoop shaped end. doesnt matter what you use to measure with as long as you use the same thing for the glitter and the powder.

when you apply it, make sure you dont put it on too thick otherwise when you file to shape you will file away glitter in some parts and may remove the colour on some glitters. best to put it on thinner then use some clear over the top for protection from the file.

has anyone tried mac pigment with acrylic instead of glitter, will it work the same x
