Quick question about my tan prep

Hi guys,

I'm getting my tan tonight, what I'm wanting to know is should I shave and exfoliate now and put moisturiser on then shower it off later or just shower put moisturiser on now and shave and exfoliate an hour before tan? xx

Any shavng should be done 24 hrs before a tan, hth

I always shave the day of my tan, with no problems my legs are quite dry, wrapped them up in clingfilm with moisturier last night but was'nt sure if I should just shower now and put more moisturiser on and then shave and exfoliate later as dont want any moisturiser left on for tan, or because I get dry legs shave and exfoliate now and shower off moisturiser later lol xx

what i would recommend is do every thing now . shower,exfoliate shave . . moisturise really well straight after yourshower esp knees elbows . dont ever leave the moisturising part 2 late as i find it takes longer drying time wen your tan goes on . . hope this helps

Sorry I dont mean to be rude but didn't you cover all this in your training with Fake bake/ XEN tan? I see you have a link on your web site for clients to get additional info. Exfoliate,shave,moisturize 24 hr before, I know some peeps still shave on the day and get away with it but you know your skin the best what do you tell your clients to do?

Yes I know what advice to give to clients, but this was purley a question for my self, I know I can get away with shaving on the day but what I was'nt to sure on was whether or not to exfoliate and shave then moisturise, and shower later (which I ended up doing) or to shower moistuirse, then exfoliate and shave before tan. It was really about having the moisturiser on I suppose, and me not being 100% confident so thought I'd ask geeks who had way more experience with spray tanning than me x
Anyhoo looks fab and took a photo of what I looked like before tan :lol: and will get one taken tonight and post on my page so people can see how white I really am and how fab xent tan is xx

Sarah,,,, if your having a spray tan...do the the prep stuff at least 24 hrs before hand...shave all the bits..exfoliate ...moisturizes ready for the spray tan application....get it done and then focus on post tan regime..moisturise and gentle exfoliation and so on :hug:
