Hi Geeeks, I am hoping someone could give me some advice. I have trained with CND and passed in January

I did a set of glitter tips using l&p and the client has had them on for three weeks, I am doing a rebalance for her tonight:eek: I have only done a few rebalances, It does take me ages to file down the product and then re-do the smile line.
my smile line are far from perfect and I do feel that my nails look nicer having a fresh set on rather than a rebalance (hate to admit that).

When I did a rebalnce a few weeks ago on another client she said to me that she has never had the white re-applied,her old nail tec would just put sheer pink on the full nail once filed down, and she said it took half the time and looked just the same!!!!!!

My question is,is this how other nail tec's do it??? Or do you re-apply the white smile line???
Also regards to the glitter tips I am doing tonight would you re-apply the glitter or just put pink all over the full nail?(but don't think the glitter would be as sparkly) I get confused with all the different methods. Tracie xxxxx

I would re apply the white and/or the glitter overwise it would be too far down the nail and unbalanced x

I too would redo the white/glitter.

With glitters what you can do is either file off all the glitter and give another colour or white, file out enough to move the smile line down and choose a complimentary glitter and colour fade them together, or add a more dramatic colour change and do it as a border between the pink and the glitter - hope that makes sense.

Always cap the glitter with clear or very transparent colour (depending on the glitter colour).

Hi guys thank you for that, The glitter I use is actually from you Fiona lol is it lovely so thank you, I have very happy customers with it!!!! I just hope the nails do not look too bulky when I add new glitter and cap it.(I need to remember it is not a new set and use smaller amounts) I need to make sure I do file as much off as I can too.
