Hello everyone...

I just reread the preptutorial and came to think, Geek say use citrus soak, but have heard abot others using scentsations wash in the spraybottle when they remove cuticle remover(cuticle away I believe it's called now)

I just wondered if it's ok or if theres something, like oils, in the scentsations that will/could lead to a socalled servicebreakdown? (somehow I imagine that theres oil in the scentsations don't know why?)

CitruSoak is a soap free product, I don't believe Scentsations hand/body wash is soap free, whenever I use it there are always bubbles, which indicates that it contains soap... unsure about them containing oils.

I have used Scentsation i my spray bottle right from the start and have never had a problem with it, i make sure to dry the hands good before i continue. I have also used Citrus Soak and there is no diffrence for me whether i use Scentsation or Citrus Soak in it :)

Do you have to rinse with citrusoak? Wouldn't the scrubfresh remove and neutralize the cuticle remover?

I always get bubbles when using citrusoak. Am I using it wrongly? I have put a little in a bottle mixed with water, put it on a cotton pad and gently massage the nail and cuticle area. By the time I get to the 3rd or 4th finger it starts to foam.

I don't think that Scentsation washes contain soap, as far as I am aware the bubbles that both products make are from a coconut derivative that is used for its cleansing properties.

As long as you have followed the guide of 1 part CitruSoak to 100 part water you should be fine

we used sentsation washes on our foundation to remove the cuticle remover. Scrubfresh alone i dont think removes it throughly enough and if it not removed enough i think can cause lifting so it has to be washed off and nails dried properly before applying the scrubfresh
Scrubfresh can be used straight after cuticle eraser which is what i use now following some advice on prep on here from geeg. I think they are both excellent prep products and use either one depending on the client and their circumstances but i just find my prep is better and have less problems when i just use the eraser and scrubfresh.

Maybe I'm a bit stingey with it and don't use enough :o
