Hi skin geeks!

I am usually lurking over at nail geek but I have a personal question you may be able to help me with.

Have any of you used an american mineral foundation called Sheer Cover? I have seen it loads on teleshopping channels (hey there isn't much on first thing in the morning when I'm having my bran flakes LOL) and it does look fantastic - or is that just very clever marketing?

Have had a mooch on their website too at Sheer Cover Natural Mineral Makeup – UK and Ireland and may well be placing an order come payday (roll on Monday ) just wanted to know if anyone has used it before I part with my hard earned.

Thankies

xx

Hi, i have not used Sheer Cover , but am a fan of Bare Esentuals, this is available on QVC, Ebay to name a few:Love:

hmmm i am a bit wary of these things where you have to become a member of the plan....they say you can cancel at anytime but it never seems that easy in reality and you still end up getting stuff in the post after you have cancelled and then have to either pay for it or have the hastle and cost of sending it back. i am not saying it is like this for them all or even this one but may be its just me being a bit over cautous from previous experience.
It does look good though as i have seen it on the tv....so may be you wont want to cancel it, lol.

Ive just ordered some mineral foundation from a company called lily lolo (after somebody on heres reccomendation) and its really good. Best thing is they do little tester pots for 99p so you can buy a few and find the best colour for you. Delivery is cheap also, fantastic value for money.

Cheers Becky, was wandering around another forum where lots pf people were also recommending Lily Lolo. Will have a loot round their site, thanks for the link.

Sian - you have a very good point there, I think I will try Lily Lolo instead.

s4mwy - thanks for your response, I may well try that one in the future.

I use sheer cover all the time. My sis ordered it and gives me the shades of powder she doesnt use. I also use their concealer with is brill. I love it, I am fairly pale with freckles and it covers everything. The only thin I would say is that u need to moisturise with their lotion twice a day as it can dry dry out ur skin if u r wearin it all the time. Other than that, i think its great!:)

Lily Lolo is fantastic. I can't fault it. I use the green concealer, the foundation, the blusher and then the finishing powder. Make sure you have a kabuki brush though. You can buy a set with it in it. Try the tester pots first to get the right shades and then order the set with the brush.

The eye shadows are fab too. The colour is really intense.

Good luck!

I use sheer cover too, bought it from a shopping channel!... I love it. I've heard of lily lolo though too, thats been recommended to me. I also think artdeco are doing mineral makeup to. I just stick to sheer cover cos you buy it in a box with brushes, cleanser etc, and it lasts for months and months and months!!!
