Hi girls,

Im newly qualified in spray tanning, bridal makeup and cluster (weekend) eyelash extensions. I have just received a call from a girl who is going to a wedding next friday and has requested a spray tan and cluster eyelashes. Apologies if this sounds a bit stupid but would i be able to do both on the same day? if i did the lashes first, do you know if then applying the spray tan could affect them, doing them after would obviously be very awkward so would you normally do the lashes one day and tan the next? Also, can anybody give me a rough idea of how much to charge for the lashes, ive been advised between £8 - £15. I also don't have a beauty couch at the moment but on my course we were told that using a client's sofa is acceptable - not ideal i feel, but is this normally the case in such circumstances? Hope you can help, many thanks

Hey

I do cluster lashes and spray tanning on a lot of my clients, I do the cluster lashes first then the spray tan, it doesn't affect the lashes at all. Client shouldn't touch their lashes anyway and just advise them to be careful when getting undressed. I don't use a beauty couch for applying cluster lashes, I have my clients sitting up, I find it just as easy. Between £8 and £15 is a good guide so its up to you, i suggest having a look what other places near you charge.

Ahh cheers for that - really helpful x

Hi can i ask where you done your training for the cluster eyelashes and what the name of the course is???
I can only find courses offering the Semi-perminant lashes?

Cheers

For a tutor to tell you this it's pretty poor!!! It is not professional to use a clients couch to do any type of treatment. You also need to think about your back.
As someone has already mentioned, you can do them with your client sitting on a chair. But remember if you are uncomfortable it will affect your treatment.
Why dont you do the spray tan when you patch test for the lashes? x

Hi...I do the lashes first and then the tan, and I dont use a couch to do the lashes.... I just get the client to sit on a chair and I dont have any problems as it only takes about ten to fifteen minutes to do them:D
