I've been spray tanning using sienna-x for about 3 years now and decided in my infinite wisdom that perhaps I should try another solution - so I got xen-tan.
Now, the sample on myself was fine, smelled lovely, faded evenly, etc. I sprayed a paying client and she was pleased although whilst developing went a bit green around the gills which I guessed was due to olive undertone in the solution. I then sprayed a friend who it didn't develop on at all so now I've lost all my confidence in the xen-tan product. To test again, I roped in some friends - one of them ended up patchy, the other loved it and the third had a healthy "glow" (I'm assuming this is because she is paler skinned so wouldn't achieve a full-on tan). I'm now unsure whether I should use it on paying clients as for a start, there is no way I would like to be walking around while it is developing with a green tinge to my skin (one of the selling points was that you can go about your daily business whilst it was developing), the results are inconsistent so do I risk it and then end up with a bad reputation? (which I don't really want to do), so then I'm stuck with a load of solution which my hubby says I should just do free tans for people and say I'm testing the product as am thinking of using and need feedback but can't guarantee the result to build up further clients - what would you do? Help please!!!
