Hi

I have a booking next week for a Tan but the client suffers from Eczema and at the moment is quite bad on her hands ...would you just get them to apply their cream to that area as normal and just spray over...as their cream acts as a barrier or just avoid the hand area altogether... not sure advice would be appreciated...Thanks

hi - you can do this but she will have to have some tan on her hands or it will look odd? check how bad it is as it has to be seen for you to know what to do really - if she has it everywhere then is a tan really going to help if she's having a flair up at the moment? Maybe wait until it has calmed abit as you don't want to aggravate the skin further. Lisa

I see you use tantrick, tantricks solutions will not aggravate the eczema,
you could give her a call and ask her to apply the cream to her hands about an hour before she comes to you/or you go to her,
this way it will have soaked in quite a bit and not create a full barrier,
then you can assess it fully when you see it, if it is only a tiny area or not bad you can let her use a wipe to remove any cream that will be left on her skin,
and make sure you apply from a distance when doing her hands, hth

Hi,
I fully agree with Loubylou.
But when my eczema flares up I just don't like to have a spray tan, it takes darker on the eczema, so I don't like the result.
Explain all of this to your client and get her to sign her consultation form.
Hope it all goes well for you.
Lotsa luv x x x  x x x
