they are not difficult at all....just put them on and spray......lemon squeezy!
 
I came across a good tip for airbrushing your own nails using a stencil........if you get one of those handy helpers (a small metal thing with arms and a magnifying glass, which stands up)and put the stencil between the two arms, you are then free to put your finger(s) under the stencil and use the other hand to airbrush. I haven't had chance to try it for myself yet, but it's worth a go I think.

Hiya, can confirm that "helping hands" do work wonders with stencil. It's easy to do your own nails with them but if you want to do a dual colour flower for example, it's really hard to reposition your fingers exactly back under the stencil. The price on the helping hands really varies too, so it's worth shopping around for the best. (Allthingsnails.co.uk were the cheapest at 4.95+vat.)
