Hello geeks! I spray tanned a girl the other week and she has cancelled her next appointment, because she said the tan was not dark enough, she told me she had to apply self tan on her the same night, but i told her to leave it over night to develop for best results. So im just curious if she would have ruined the tan by putting self tan on by not waiting the required time and if it would have made her orange?? Any advice please? Thanks

She should have waited until the developing time was up. What % did you use? X

Hi, yes i know she should thats what i told her, would it have rubbed off when she applied her own self tan? I used 12% on her i use suntana.

She can't expect you to sort this out for her as she has not followed your advise! She would probably have ended orange due to a DHA overload and also a streaky tan as she smudged your application around! She sounds barmy you're probably better off not having her as a client but if you think she would have regular tanning you could offer her a 1/2 tan complementary (just her legs) and tell her not to touch it this time!

I agree with weezie, if she didnt follow the aftercare advice and put on false tan over it she probably looks like she been tangoed lol. X
