hi guys..

just wanted to double check if it was a bad idea to do a fake tan (st tropez) straight after waxing??

x

Yes a very bad idea, the tan will be uneven on the areas waxed and the client may also get infected follicles and/or have an allergic reaction. Plus you will not be able to put on aftercare lotion and the tan would not take on areas with wax residue, plus you would not be able to exfoliate her. Leave for 24 hours minimum before doing a tan depending on how reactive the client is to waxing this may need to be increased to 48 hours.

I always say 48 hrs between waxing and spray tanning to make sure the pores have fully closed,
other wise your client will be able to play dot to dot on the waxed areas hth

thanks guys..

i know that its not a good idea but ive havent really worked in a salon before and i know things always work differently in industry from uni..

ive txt my client to say i wont be able to do both treatments and so she will only be having tanning..

thanks:hug:

Be aware that the same goes for shaving she needs to leave at least 24hours.

ABSOLUTE NO NO. It stings like mad - I tried it once just to see what would happen -
