Thanks Claire - here are 'clues'.... and Glynis you DO know Glam and you take one of the best pictures I have seen! OK define glamerous:
LBD (of course - goes without saying) BTW that's Little Black Dress :Grope:
Cocktail style dresses
Dressy tops with trousers...
Maxi Dress
Mini Dress
Plenty of sparkle (if you like)

TBH I would say anything goes nowadays - it isn't black tie so you don't have to go out and buy a meringue! Just as an FYI Debenhams have a big selection at v reasonable prices for 'dresses'... Hope this helps and happy to see you all getting in the mood!

Also the S2 site does now give a lot more info on the Event so for those who haven't checked it out... check it out!

Have a look on here
ASOS.com - The latest women's clothing and designer clothes for women.
Sorry Angie I just realised you said the same thing lol
I've had some lovely LBDs from here. I also got one from a shop in the trafford centre but Ant picked it tbh and it wasn't expensive but looked fab on but unless he remembers the name of the shop I can't help sorry.
I hear also that boohoo.com is good x

What do we think is meant by Professional for the day - is this smart and business like (as in no jeans) or actual salon wear.

I swear you missed your calling as a Stand Up Emma:lol:

Professional can mean your salon wear or smart dress... pants, shirts, skirts etc... In the US they don't wear salon wear but all come quite spiffed up... but that is the US so please do what you feel comfortable!

I'm so chuffed! Just bought my ticket for The Event! Just need to get myself a hotel for a couple of nights and I'm sorted! Will have to worry about what to wear later when I have some spare pennies! :irked:
