The Event...Where are you all staying?

Ive booked my ticket for the event-yey!-But I'm not sure where to stay. I dont know the area and worrying about being safe. Any advice on accomodation or the area, lovely geeks?

I've just booked myself in at the Travelodge. The brekkie you get at the Travelodge isn't anywhere near as good as at the Premier Inn... but hey ho it's much cheaper! :green: I've just booked Saturday night and Sunday night as I've no idea yet what the itinerary is.

Can't wait for October now!! It's ages away tho................................ :irked:

Thats where I am staying too, as Jen said above, and have one of those family rooms too!

I have booked overnight 25th October and got a family room as was the same price as a double. If anyone needs to share then pm me to discuss,safety in numbers and all that n nice to have a geek to share with! :lol:

Just as an FYI, there are a few hotels in spitting distance of the event, 3 of them Premier Inns! The best option is Manchester Trafford Centre West Hotel | Information - cheap quality budget hotel rooms - Premier Inn as it is the closest to Chill Factore (though the others arent really far!)

I only know that as the Chill Factore told me it was called the Tulip Inn, but when I tried to find it on net to book it, I thought I was going mad as it kept taking me to The Premier Inn.

I had to ring them up & make sure I booked the right place :hug:
